Vampire Halloween Party Ideas: Video & Recipes

Inspiration for decor, flowers, appetizers and cocktails

Each October, we take over the winemaking wing of the Jordan chateau for 24 hours and transform it into a nightclub for the annual Halloween at Jordan event. The theme changes every year. Our vampire party, called Glampire, had some fun decor, drinks and appetizers worth sharing. Though the industry-only affair (sorry, guys) takes six months of planning, the last few weeks before the event are spent creating appetizers and drink cocktails recipes, testing floral designs and finalizing the small decorations.

In these demo videos, I’ll show you how to create a sleek floral arrangement for a spooky Halloween party with some useful tips if you can’t find black roses or black vases. Todd and our sous chef demonstrate a colorfully fun, yet elegant, roasted beet and Tsar Nicoulai caviar hors d’oeuvre in the two-part video that concludes with Todd and I mixing a seasonal artisan cocktail inspired by our garden with the help of local mixologist Scott Beattie.

Recipes for one of our Halloween party appetizers, A Bite of Glampire, and the Glamtini and Fangtastic Martini (crowd favorite) cocktails are included. There’s also a photo gallery with Halloween vampire party decoration ideas.

      Hi there,
You definitely have to set a schedule and hold yourself accountable to that schedule. We try to post twice a week. It does take a lot of effort. My suggestion would be to use efficiency tools to save time with uploading photos to a blog: flickr, posterous, wordpress mobile iphone app, etc.
      Best of luck!
