Create Elegant Summer Centerpieces for Your Table
How to make a rustic wine country floral arrangement
Elegant summer centerpieces make any indoor or outdoor dining occasion more memorable. At Jordan, we enjoy weaving foraged as well as sourced flowers and plants into our guests’ experiences, for an extra welcoming touch. I featured this flower arrangement idea at our 2017 Sunset Supper at Jordan Vista Point, a fabulous outdoor dining event hosted on the highest hilltop on the estate. To compliment the views from this vista, I created a stylish floral combination by arranging ruffled white stock and beautiful peach and pink garden roses with deep red scabiosa. It takes just a few minutes to pull this rustic yet wow tableau together and whether dining alfresco or hosting a formal dining room event, summer centerpieces like this will not disappoint.
For the base, I used 12 x 5-inch distressed wood flower boxes and below is my recipe shopping list for this summer centerpiece. When creating any floral arrangement, my rule of thumb is use odd numbers to craft a more balanced, eye-pleasing look. Build with the biggest elements first, which will draw the eye in, then move into the smaller flowers. Fill in using the Devil in the Bushes and Seeded Eucalyptus.
